Dear Readers,
I have been asked to make our first submission for our company blog for our new website. The statements I will be making have held true to Corridor's mottos, ethics, and moral beliefs since the inception of our company. We have proudly taken ownership of a word, and that is EXCELLENCE!
We strive each day to uphold this word in every way we can. From outset, Corridor's concept was to create an environment where our staff could not wait to get to work and truly hated to go home. While this is not a realistic actuality each day, we believe if a company, from the top owner/manager on down, focuses on this motto alone, it will lead to the successful creation of a great company.
It is critical that the person in charge of the day-to-day operations of an "All Medical" answering service understand the nature of the business. There seemed to be a strong need for the input of a Registered Nurse to manage, train, and adhere to the daily needs of Corridor and so was born the relationship between Corridor Medical Answering Service and Gretchen Godwin, RN. I do not take my job lightly and when I am not physically at work, I am always "mentally" on call. My staff and our clients know that I am always just a quick phone call away. From our beginning Customer Service Representatives to our Operations Manager, Bookkeeping Department, and Sales and Marketing force, I have chosen to not only understand how to run each department from beginning to end, I also take part in each department on a daily basis. I have learned from previous employers that what a great staff sincerely needs is a great leader. If the leader of a company is not focused on the details of the needs of his or her company, the company will suffer.
We as a TEAM at Corridor perceive ourselves to work as one unit. We don't allow anyone to feel that his or her job is unimportant. If we sense that a member is struggling, we address it immediately and make sure he or she understands how to reach out to all of us in order to "fit in well" and succeed. We get a sense also that this is the reason we greatly are admired by our clients. Our quality assurance program is the key to our success. Because we have a well thought out program for quality assurance, our company is a leader in our industry.
To all of you who already are working with Corridor, we sincerely THANK YOU for your business, and to those of you considering joining us, we would love to WELCOME you with open arms.
